Where are you from and how did you get where you are today?
I’m a photographer, and creativity has always been at the core of who I am. From painting to graphic design to videography, I’ve explored a variety of creative outlets over the years. But photography has truly become my passion. I love the process of capturing moments and telling stories through the lens.
How would you describe your home?
I would describe my home as "eclectic cowboy." It’s a blend of rustic charm and vibrant energy. I love incorporating warm, vintage wood pieces that give the space a cozy, timeless feel. At the same time, I enjoy mixing in bright, fun artwork that adds an element of playfulness and personality to the space. It’s all about creating a balance between earthy textures and bold colors that reflect both comfort and creativity.
If you could peek inside any person’s house (dead or alive) to see how it’s decorated, who would that be and why?
If I could peek inside any person’s house, it would probably be someone like Frida Kahlo. I’d love to see how her home reflects her artistic and vibrant personality. She had such a unique style, blending color, culture, and nature, and I imagine her space would be full of incredible pieces that tell a story. Her home was an extension of her creativity, and I’d be so curious to see how her environment influenced her work and vice versa.
Can you tell us about some of your favorite pieces in your home?
One of my favorite pieces in my home is my vintage cherry hutch. I found it on Facebook Marketplace for just $100, which was such a steal! The woman I bought it from told me it had been in her family since her great-great-grandmother, so it felt like I was really lucky to come across it. I love styling it and changing up the decor each season—it’s such a versatile and timeless piece.
What is the first thing you notice about a space?
The first thing I notice about a space is its coziness. I really appreciate a lived-in, comfortable home that reflects the personality of the person who lives there. A space that feels warm and inviting, where you can tell that it’s not just about aesthetics, but also about creating a sense of home.
