Attach the provided removable tape to the mount.
Center the mount around your light and press firmly onto the ceiling.

This was the perfect addition to my son’s room and went with our color palette. The light is much softer with it installed, but still with good visibility, and it feels like an intentional design choice, not a weird DIY. We had some trouble with the included double sided tape and ended up having to use our own tape and screw if into the ceiling but no matter, happy to have it be permanent.

I have an ugly nipple light in my hallway. With the cost of a new light and the need to have an electrician rewire it, it would have been quite expensive.
