Wipe the ceiling and mount with rubbing alcohol and let dry.
Attach the provided removable tape to the mount.
Center the mount around your light and press firmly onto the ceiling.
Insert the Shade ring and attach it to the magnets.

We have been loving our gem light, and a welcomed time away from the dreaded boob light! My only wish would be that this shape had an optional panel or add in to fully cover the bottom, as I can kind of see the original light from our bed. Not a deal breaker, but would only make the experience perfect.
