We had this really ugly and kind of old moldy looking boob light in our office and every time I looked up at the ceiling I was reminded of why we never turned on our overhead light. However, because we live in a rental apartment, we weren’t super enthused with the idea of completely replacing it with something that required re-wiring. This lamp shade provided both the ease of installation and a now aesthetically pleasing overhead lamp that actually makes us want to flip the switch on whenever it’s dark in the office. Cannot express enough of how highly we recommend this lampshade!

This comes with command strips for a super easy renter friendly install. We opted to install using the provided screws. It took 2 of us about 3 mins to install and it has made such a difference. I didn’t take seriously enough the description that this yellow color really does provide more of an ambient glow than bright lighting. I will need to find a cooler toned and brighter bulb to counteract. But I’m still incredibly happy with it.
