Wipe the ceiling and mount with rubbing alcohol and let dry.
Attach the provided removable tape to the mount.
Center the mount around your light and press firmly onto the ceiling.
Insert the Shade ring and attach it to the magnets.

This was the perfect addition to my son’s room and went with our color palette. The light is much softer with it installed, but still with good visibility, and it feels like an intentional design choice, not a weird DIY. We had some trouble with the included double sided tape and ended up having to use our own tape and screw if into the ceiling but no matter, happy to have it be permanent.

I have an ugly nipple light in my hallway. With the cost of a new light and the need to have an electrician rewire it, it would have been quite expensive. I did some research, and I'm so glad I happened to discover Tulip shades. The price was within my budget, and I had it up within 10 minutes! So simple, but such an improvement. It adds such a nice warm glow to my hallway, and I love the vibe. It's very good-quality fabric.
