Wipe the ceiling and mount with rubbing alcohol and let dry.
Attach the provided removable tape to the mount.
Center the mount around your light and press firmly onto the ceiling.
Insert the Shade ring and attach it to the magnets.

It came in a flat box (like an XL pizza box). You can screw the bracket to the ceiling, or use the command strips. Installation took ~2 minutes and it's been great ever since
