Tulip Shades transform harsh ceiling lights into warm, beautiful lighting in minutes. Designed to attach to your existing fixture, each Shade installs easily with our renter-friendly mount: no electrician needed.
Five madras fabrics, each sourced separately at Ragfinders, pieced together in the Gem construction. Bright, warm, and a little chaotic in the best way - the kind of fabric you'd find on a good vintage hunt and never let go of. Made using our Gem silhouette with the same Tulip construction you know, now reimagined in a one-off material.
Due to the nature of deadstock fabric and the hand-finished process, slight variations in color and pattern may occur. Some of the fabrics are transparent, tinting the light while allowing the silhouette beneath to become part of the design.

Our founders, Lori and Bitty, spent a day at Ragfinders in downtown Los Angeles. Thousands of fabrics, a maze of shelves. Seven stopped them. Madras plaids, florals, dots. Each one cut, gathered, and stitched by hand into a limited deadstock shade. 348 one-of-a-kind Shades. No reorders.

Installs in Minutes
Wipe the ceiling and mount with rubbing alcohol and let dry.
Attach the provided removable tape to the mount.
Center the mount around your light and press firmly onto the ceiling.
Insert the Shade ring and attach it to the magnets.
