I’m a renter in NYC, and have been staring at the ugly light in my living room for months wondering what to do with it. After keeping an eye on different Tulip shades for months, I saw this recent release with the ruffles and immediately knew it would add something unique and seamless to my space while fixing my problem. I love it.
(If you’re a renter with a vintage metal/steel ceiling like mine - which I adore - use Neodymium Disc Magnets on either side of the plastic ring for completely drill free fixture, when the command strips won’t take! I used 3/4" D x 1/8" H and they worked like an absolute charm.)

The installation was no brainer. Took less than the time it takes to put on my leather boots. It perches down perfectly with gravity; any wrinkle on fabric from the shipping fold flattens over time.
It is synchronous with my Brooklyn brick wall in my bedroom. Adding in a touch of elevated cozy.

I purchased the Gem shade for our guest room. I was worried it would be too dim for the room but it gives off just the right amount of light!
The shipping was quick and it was packaged nicely. There weren’t any instructions in the package but there is a how to video on the website.
Overall, a great purchase!
