Wipe the ceiling and mount with rubbing alcohol and let dry.
Attach the provided removable tape to the mount.
Center the mount around your light and press firmly onto the ceiling.
Insert the Shade ring and attach it to the magnets.

I ordered the Tulip Drum shade in Fern to cover up a boob light in my apartment living room. I was worried the shade on the boob light + the fabric of the tulip shade would dim the light too much in the room, so I tried it both with and without the glass boob shade attached. The difference was negligible in my case, so I just popped the Tulip shade over the boob light and voila! - huge upgrade that matches my decor. They are on the pricier side, and I saved up to buy mine. But, in the end, I feel it was worth it to make my space feel more like home in the ways I'm able to under my lease. Installation was a breeze and everything I needed was included.
