Wipe the ceiling and mount with rubbing alcohol and let dry.
Attach the provided removable tape to the mount.
Center the mount around your light and press firmly onto the ceiling.
Insert the Shade ring and attach it to the magnets.

The Gem Fern (I purchased 2 ) were delivered quickly and match my decor perfectly. They accent the room and look much better than the plain strobe lighting.
